SWOP is the abbreviation for “sketch'n write on pictures“ and that says it all. The Swop Book is not a blank notebook, but a picture book with a lot of white space within the pictures. And this is to be filled in - with drawings, texts or relaxing doodles.

Book description

Have no ideas, or not in the mood to rack your brains? No problem! This notebook helps you to overcome the fear of the blank page. That’s why the paper in this book is not blank, but printed. Printed with pictures waiting to be creatively completed. Scribble, tag your ideas onto cinema screens, billboards, toilet walls or housefronts, try out tattoos or relabel signs. Be really subversive without running the risk of getting into trouble with the law.

For the beginners
Perhaps as a child, you painted a moustache or horns onto the politicians’ head on the front page of your parents newspaper. It is always a little easier to finish off a picture than to create a new one from scratch. This is especially so as we find it harder to think of new ideas and images whilst sat in front of a blank page. The notebook provides a platform for your creative flights of fancy.

For the creative professionals
You have, of course, already mastered all of the creative techniques out there, but what do you do when the creative ideas just aren’t steadily flowing? This book helps you to bring new and unusual ideas to mind in a playful way. Design a new airline logo for the tail fin of your private jet or do something beneficial and worthwhile, and label the paper board of a homeless person. Just try it - the flow will come - guaranteed.

For the retired street artists
No longer have the nerve to abseil from that motorway bridge or wait for your opportunity to tag in the underground station at 2am in the morning?
