Hans Hillmann exhibition at our gallery Brücke 66

The Hans Hillmann exhibition with vernissage at Brücke 66 starts at the 5th of May at 7.30pm. Uwe Loesch will deliver a laudation. We would be very pleased about a large audience. Prof. Hans Hillmann, honorary member of the Art Directors Club Germany, belongs to Germany´s most important graphic designers and illustrators.

He influenced graphic designers of the following generations by his work as graphic-professor at the University of Visual Arts (University of Kassel). Until 1974 he designed more than 150 film posters for rental companies. Hillmann also received numerous national and international awards for his posters.

He worked as illustrator for “FAZ Magazine” und the cult magazine “twen”. Hillmann illustrated books, for example his own version of Hammett´s thriller “Fliegenpapier” from 1982. Hans Hillmann lives in Frankfurt am Main. Photo: Illustration of Hans Hillmann for FAZ Magazine.
