While I fail at remembering names or phone numbers, I still remember the sequence of songs on my old mix tapes. I even remember who gave me the tape and on what occasion.
The important love stories usually began with a simple "Special Mix"
(with slowdance songs). And they ended with a sentimental or angry "The Final Cut".
By now my tape recorder is broken, but I remained faithful to "her" and just write everything I can't remember instantaneously "on a tape".
